Amazon Prime Launches In India, With Lucrative 60-day Trial Offer

At last Amazon, the e-commerce giant has launched its Prime Service in India. The Prime Service is being offered across 100 cities, the service offers free and unlimited one-day and two-day delivery options, without the requirement of any minimum order amount for delivery.

As of now one-day delivery costs INR 100 per order, but with Prime subscription it can be had for free. In Delhi, Banglore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and other cities would also get discounts on Same-day delivery. The Prime subscribers would also get a 30-minute early access to lightning deals and member-only exclusives.

As a part of Prime Subscription, Amazon Prime's video service, that includes movies and tv shows, would also be coming to India in near future.

Amazon is offering a 60-day trial period for interested users to try out the service, those who sign up for the trial would get an introductory price of INR 499 for the first year of the service. After the trial period, the service would cost INR 999 a year.
