Samsung Unveils The 10nm LPDDR4 6GB DRAM Chip



Samsung introduced a new 10 nanometer LPDDR4 6GB DRAM chip during Mobile Soultions Form held in Shenzhen, China yesterday. It's not the first time we have seen 6GB of memory, but Samsung is the  first to manufactured on a small lithography. This should make the chip more power efficient, will help in battery life of the new handset using it.

From past few days rumors have been circulating around the next-gen Galaxy Note 6. This 10 nanometer chip could be present in Note 6, which is rumored to feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and a 4000mAh of battery.

There's something that we really like about Samsung is the desire to do big. Currently, Samsung is the leading manufacture of flash memory as well as DRAM and with the announcement of this chip it seems the South Korean tech giant is gonna keep it's top position for a long period of time.
