Google Unveiled Home To Take On Amazon's Echo

Google make another noteworthy announcement at it's I/O 2016 event, for all those who have been paying attention to Google, this one probably won't come as a surprise. Google Home is answer to Amazon's echo, although Amazon was the first to had a breakout hit. Google shamelessly copied the concept and comes up with a new pear-shaped Home speaker.

With Google Home you can manage your everyday tasks, listen your favorite music and can ask Google anything you want to know. All of this can easily be done by speaking with the Assistant.

Google says that Home was designed to blend with the interior of your home. The bottom of the devices will come in different colors and materials, including metal and fabrics to reflect your home style. On the top there are four LEDs (blinking in signature Google colors). The Home has no buttons, the experience is an entirely hands-off and voice controlled.

Google Home is a Wi-Fi speaker that streams music directly from the cloud so you get the highest quality playback. It will deliver high bass and clear highs all from a beautiful, compact  form factor. Of course you can access Songs, Playlists, Albums, Artists and Podcast from your favorite music services. Moreover you can also send music from your Android or iOS device through Google Cast.

Google Home is promised to work with both Android and iOS devices and is said to be released later this summer at a price that remains to be disclosed.
