Today, at Lumia event Microsoft unveiled a new Lumia 950XL Windows 10 smartphone and with the device PureView camera reborn on the big screen.
If you people remember, 2 years back Nokia introduced a 6-inch giant Lumia 1520 Windows Phone and it was the largest Windows Phone around at that time. Although, Microsoft's new Lumia device isn't a giant phone but it does come with huge 5.7-inch display screen.

Microsoft Lumia 950XL comes with a 5.7-inch QHD screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, and for protection there is Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It's an AMOLED unit with Glance screen. Under the hood there's a Snapdragon 810 chipset – Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57, Adreno 430 to bear the load of QHD graphics and 3GB of RAM. And to keep the device running cool, Microsoft introduces a liquid cooling solution.

Camera section includes: a 20MP PureView sensor (1/2.4") with 5th gen optical stabilisation and Carl Zeiss optics (f/1.9). It can record 2160p video natively with Lumia's traditional Hi-Fi audio recording. There's a 5MP/1080p selfie camera too, accompanied by its own LED flash.

Along with that the Lumia 950XL is also equipped with USB Type- C connector and a 3,340mAh of battery. Quick Charging: 50% battery charge takes just 30 minutes.

Additionally, the phone will come with USB Type-C connector using which you can hook up the Display Dock which gives you HDMI and DisplayPort video out plus 3 USBs. Microsoft also introduced a new Windows Hello feature, the feature is currently in beta version, it uses the front facing camera to recognise you and unlock the device.
