Motorola Extends Its Exclusivity In India,Now Devices Will Also Available Through Amazon, Snapdeal And Airtel Stores

Motorola is no longer exclusive to the giant e-commerce retailer Flipkart, extends its exclusivity to Snapdeal, and will also be available through Airtel stores.

Couple of years back when Motorola launch it's first gen Moto G smartphone, they made it available exclusively through flipkart. At that time many questions were raised that 'why Motorola is flipkart exclusive?'- and to this the vice president Magnus Ahlqvist said that “We have a long term plan for India, we want to provide the best possible user experience rather than flooding the market with the product. India is an important market for us”.

Since then, Motorola was having the partnership with flipkart, but today the Lenovo-owned company has announced that it is are expanding this reach. Now the Motorola devices will also be available through some selected Airtel stores along with other online retailers like- Amazon and Snapdeal.

In a press event, company confirmed that it will be offering it's Moto devices through its distribution partner Brightstar India.
Amit Boni, General Manager of Motorola Mobility India, said:

“Responding to growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms. To start off, we will be available at select stores for our consumers to experience and purchase the device. Consumers are at the heart of whatever we do and we will leave no stone unturned to enhance their buying experiences.”

We have got information that, Moto E 4G will be the first smartphone sold via Airtel stores, while the e-commerce retailers Amazon and Snapdeal will be offering the 3G and 4G versions of the Moto E from Friday, 25th September.
