Ubuntu Intel Compute Stick To Go On Sale Next Week For $110

The Ubuntu flavored Intel Compute Stick is all set to go on sale next week-announced the Canonical. The Ubuntu version is expected to be price at around $110 and will be available globally via major online and retail stockists. 

Intel Compute Stick is basically an HDMI dongle which will give you a PC-like experience when plugged int a TV or monitor. The all new Ubuntu version stick will come with quad-core Intel ‘Atom’ processor clocked at 1.3Ghz, 16Gb RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and with the 64-bit version of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS pre-installed. There’s also a microSD slot for additional storage. 

We,ve already seen the Windows version of Intel Compute Sick, but it’s the first time that the Ubuntu has been offered for sale. It will be available from retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Newegg.com.
