Amazon Thinking Big On Its 20th Birthday With "Prime Day"- Step Aside Black Friday

The e-commerce giant Amazon on its 20th birthday introducing a global shopping-event "Prime Day" for its prime members.

In a press release, Greg Greeley, vice president of Amazon Prime, claims "Prime Day is a one-day only event filled with more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members around the globe. Members tell us every day how much they love Prime and we will keep making it better".

If you are not already a Prime Member- you can sign up for it now and don't miss one of the biggest deals extravaganzas in the world. You won't have to pay up for a Prime subscription- you can sign up for a 30-day free Prime membership prior to July 15th and you'll still get access to offers. The offer is exclusively available for Prime members located in U.S., U.K., Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Austria.
On Prime Day, Amazon is holding a #PrimeLiving Photo Contest, one winner from each Prime-eligible country will get a $10,000 Amazon gift card.
