In earlier days, pretty much every smartphone came up with removable battery and it was very easy to reset any smartphone. As if a phone ever became freezing, not responsive we just power off the phone and remove the battery for few seconds and than put it back. As of now things got changed and many of the smartphones models come with non-removable built-in batteries.
So how would you reset smartphone with fixed batteries? Well it depends on the kind of model you have. Every model have different key combination. Below is the list of different brands and their respective key combinations:
- Sony, HTC- Press and hold down the power and volume up button simultaneously until the phone shuts down. Now wait for few seconds and if needed manually power on the phone. And yeah also note that some Sony smartphones come with dedicated reset button.
- Samsung, LG, Huawei, Asus- Hold down the power button until the phone shuts down. And after few seconds power it on normally.
- Motorola, Nokia Lumia- Press and hold down the power and volume down button until the phone shuts down. Hold the key combinations until the phone begins to restart.
- iPhone- Press and hold down the power and home button simultaneously until the phone shuts down. Hold the buttons until it begins to restart.
