Satya Nadella Is Now Microsoft's New CEO

Last year, two names was considered for the next-CEO of world's biggest software company Microsoft and India-born Satya Nadella was among of the two candidates. Now it seems that search for new CEO is over, as Satya Nadella is now appointed as the next-CEO of the company. 

"Today is a very humbling day for me," says Nadella in an internal memo to Microsoft employees. "It is an incredible honor for me to lead and serve this great company of ours."

He has worked over 20 years with Microsoft and is know the new CEO, Satya will get a base annual salary of USD $1.2 million. He has been an executive at company's fastest growing business including office and server.

"Satya is a proven leader with hard-core engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together," said Gates said in a statement. "His vision for how technology will be used and experienced around the world is exactly what Microsoft needs as the company enters its next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth."

Bill gates will remain the member of board, founder and technology advisot.
