Nokia has finally launch its new Lumia 1020 flagship in India and smartphone will be available by October 11. And day before that Nokia will reveal the price details of the cameraphone i.e on October 10. This time we only know that the Nokia Camera Grip will be available for Rs. 7,500, while the Wireless Charging Shell will be available for Rs. 3,200.
The smartphone was revealed by Nokia a couple of months back at an event in New York. This Window Phone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and comes in a matte finish and is a rock solid device. Its PureView camera will let you shoot in super high resolution, you can zoom in close to your shot after you’ve taken it. Then rotate, reframe, crop and share new images as many times as you want.
It also powers a 4.5-inch display which is almost the same size as the one on the Lumia 920 and Lumia 925. Also features a 2000 mAh of Battery, a 2GB of RAM and runs on Windows Phone 8. Along with this, Lumia 1020 display boasts of a pixel density of 332 PPI.
"The response to the Nokia Lumia range in India has been extremely encouraging." P. Balaji, Managing Director, Nokia India said this at launch.
The uniqueness of Lumia 1020 is that it powers a 41-megapixel PureView camera sensor which offers Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), backside-illuminated image sensor, 6 lens optics along with a Xenon Flash. It offers a 1.2MP front facing camera shooter and a 32GB of non-expandable internal storage.
